Bags Tournament: Do you have a good arm? Do you like to throw things or even feel like throwing something? If you answered yes, the National Honor Society of EHS would like to invite all ages to come out and participate in a bags (corn hole) tournament to benefit the local Erie Food Pantry. This event will be in the EHS gym on Saturday, Nov. 10 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. The entry fee of $10 for a team of two will benefit the local Erie Food Pantry. Veteran's Day Program

Erie Elementary School will be presenting their annual Veterans Appreciation program on Friday, November 9th at the Erie School Annex building. The program will begin at 9:00 a.m. with a welcome coffee for the veterans starting at 8:30 a.m.. All veterans and current military service men and women and the public are invited to attend. Music groups from Erie Elementary School, Middle School and High School will be performing during the program. A slide show of pictures of veterans will be shown before the program. Zonda Kids Dance Assembly This Friday For Grades K-8

The Erie Elementary and Erie Middle School are getting excited for Friday. On Friday, they will have an end of the quarter assembly with Zonda Kids Dance. Zonda Kids Dance combines hip hop dance moves with student success principles that include messages on achievement, motivation, bullying, personal power and so much more. EP Panther Blitz Fundraiser

On Wednesday, October 17th from 6:30-7:30 p.m. the blitz will be happening. The books cost $25. The Panther Athletes will be all around town. Please support this one major fund raiser the boosters do. The boosters provide much needed money to the panther coaches. This money allows our athletes to participate in summer camps, shoot outs/tournaments, leagues and any special equipment they need.

Dental Clinic Coming to School!

A Quality Public Health Dental Clinic is coming to School! On November 20, 2018 the Whiteside County Health Department Dental Clinic is coming to our school. Any student in grades preschool through 8th grade may participate in the dental sealant program. This school dental exam also fulfills the state law requiring all K, 2nd, and 6th graders to have a mandatory dental exam - this will work for next year's requirements for current preschool, 1st, and 5th graders as well. Once again we will be hosting our Middle School Engineering Technology Day and would like to invite you and your students to attend the Fall 2018 and Spring 2019 sessions.
