National Spanish Assessment Results

This year, 53 of Ms. Windish’s EHS Spanish students in levels I through IV took the National Spanish Assessment. This is a slightly different test than in past years but is still challenging and measures student achievement in the areas of reading, listening comprehension, vocabulary and grammar. This is a voluntary test, but one that will likely help those current Spanish class students who attend college and will take a Spanish Placement Exam. The test was given May 10 and students have had access to a practice site since before Christmas break. Concussion Baseline Testing Dates

Concussion Baseline Testing Information Erie - Prophetstown Athletic Coop in Association with Hammond Henry Hospital is once again offering free concussion baseline testing via the ImPact software. Baseline concussion testing is mandatory for all incoming freshmen. Junior student athletes need to take the baseline test if they took it as freshman. Any sophomore going out for any extracurricular for the first time, also need to take the test. Remember, your baseline test is good for two years, therefore, if you participated last year, as an incoming sophomore or junior, you do not need to take the test. Summer Enrichment is NOW OPEN!!

You can now register for summer enrichment courses! Registration will close at 3:00 p.m. on May 17th. Please note the following: 1. Each student registering will need their own unique email address. Consider using parents, school, etc. for families with more than one student. 2. Only two registrations are allowed per student on the sign-up. 3. If the course is full OR if the student wishes to sign up for more than two courses, please use the waiting list sign-up form. Summer Enrichment Sign-up Begins Monday, May 6th at 5pm!

Summer enrichment courses are again being offered to Erie students free of charge. A list of courses can be seen below. Tonight, May 6th at 5 pm, the registration will open for these courses. The link for registration will be available in three locations at 5 pm tonight: on our Facebook page, on the homepage of the school website and through a school message in an email and/or text. Students need to sign up for classes that are marked for their current grade level. There is a limit for two classes per student with a waiting list available for additional entries, if space allows.
