This year, 53 of Ms. Windish’s EHS Spanish students in levels I through IV took the National Spanish Assessment. This is a slightly different test than in past years but is still challenging and measures student achievement in the areas of reading, listening comprehension, vocabulary and grammar. This is a voluntary test, but one that will likely help those current Spanish class students who attend college and will take a Spanish Placement Exam. The test was given May 10 and students have had access to a practice site since before Christmas break. Those students who scored high enough have the option of not taking their comprehensive second semester exam.
