Congratulations to Addison Wiersema! A signing ceremony was held earlier this week to celebrate Addison participating in rodeo at Fort Hays State University. Addison is the first student from Erie High School to sign for college rodeo! Congratulations on all of your accomplishments and we look forward to seeing your future success at Fort Hays State!
Mrs. Wolf and Mrs. Leihsing challenged their Panther Mindset group to do one Random Act of Kindness every day for a week. We gave them a form to fill out with a confirming adult signature for each day. We incentivized this with a gift certificate from a local business. Adison Stephens (8th Grade) completed this challenge in its entirety. We were encouraging the kids to seek opportunities to be kind, in hopes that it will become a habit they can keep paying forward! Congratulations to Adi! Keep up the good and KIND work!
The Three Rivers Art conference was held in Monmouth-Roseville this year on Wednesday, April 24. Three students from Erie came away with awards in their categories! Jolene Wells won 1st place in Multi-media for her Mean Girls -themed painted denim jacket, Iszabel Oszfolk won 2nd place in Functional Ceramics for her vase, and (not pictured) Alexandra McKenna won Third Place for her multi-media art.
